On 17 May, the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, Gay and Lesbian Memory in Action (GALA) will be launching a new website for African LGBTI youth and their allies.

Hear Us Out! is an online space developed specifically for African LGBTI youth. As well as bringing together resources and information, the website will serve as a unique platform for LGBTI youth to connect with and support other young people from across the continent. It is a space where LGBTI youth can share their creative work and learn more about human rights, activism, campaign building and services/support in their area.

GALA invites all of our allies in the fight against discrimination and prejudice to celebrate the launch of the website. Please join us for a demonstration of Hear Us Out! and for information on how others in the sector can support or be part of this exciting online initiative.
